PROJECT MANAGERS - VARIOUS PROJECT LOCATIONS
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Manages the Project from bid preparation and design phase that includes engineering drawings and calculations, fabrication drawings through the developing of Bills of Material; assisting in Estimating and Purchasing to procure system components and structural hardware, to managing subcontractors to complete system installations and commissioning
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED
Maintains Direct Contact with Customers and/or Contractors/Trades
Represents E.S.Fox Ltd. as point of contact with the owner in a professional, businesslike and reasonable manner.
Understands all aspects of a project budget and deal with the owner on all cost issues.
Develops overall project schedules and oversee the maintenance, progress, and issuance of schedule.
Understands fully the project scope and deal with the owner on all scope issues.
Understands and administers the contractual agreement between E.S.Fox Ltd. and the owner and ensure Company conforms to the contract documents.
Addresses all relevant issues with the appropriate correspondence in a professional manner.
Ensures the project is executed in a safe manner following the E.S.Fox Ltd. safety policy and OSHA guidelines.
Ensures the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources.
Ensures the project is adequately resourced for proper control.
Develops or oversees the development of all project requisitions and work with the central purchasing group to obtain all material in accordance with project schedules.
Recognizes and retains productive manpower.
Recognizes and deals with unproductive manpower.
Organizes or oversees the tools and equipment for project.
Understands job costing and tracking reports, i.e. dollars, hours, schedule, etc.
Assembles estimates for projects and project extras.
Develops Cost Estimates and Execute Cost Reduction Strategies
Performs and/or Supervises Field Work.
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Professional Certification in Project Management through CCA Gold Seal Program
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Related Field would be an Asset
Community College Technologist/Technician Diploma and/or
Demonstrated Understanding of Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera etc.)
6 10 years of direct Construction Industry experience including estimating, scheduling and/or purchasing
5 Years Experience as a Project Coordinator
Demonstrated Ability to Manage Projects of Moderate Scope and Complexity
Demonstrated Ability to Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
Must have Strong Technical, Managerial, Interpersonal and Leadership Skills

SUMMARY OF ROLE
Project Coordinators are responsible for the administration of contracts and contractual obligations including those relating to subcontractors, contract changes, order changes, drawings, material requisitions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED

SUMMARY OF ROLE
Purchasing agents purchase all subcontracts, equipment, materials and business services for use or for further processing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED
Purchases all general and specialized equipment, subcontracts, materials or business services for use or for further processing
Assess requirements for all projects, compiling drawings and specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, subcontractors and review quotations
Determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
Establish and maintain delivery schedules, monitor progress and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve problems
May train or supervise more junior purchasing clerks.
Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and communicates with Purchasing Manager
Selects the material and equipment which best fits the project's requirements
Negotiates prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers and subcontractors
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and subcontractors
Reads and understands blue print drawings.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce or economics
A certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada would be an asset
Previous experience as a purchasing clerk or as an administrative clerk may be required
Knowledge of multi-trade disciplines

SITE HEALTH & SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES - VARIOUS PROJECT LOCATIONS (ONTARIO)
REPORTS TO
Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Responsible for implementing, monitoring and enforcing the Company Health & Safety policies and programs, ensuring safe working procedures on company work sites and facilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED
· Implements and oversees site safety program
· Liaises with management and labour to ensure that the highest level of due diligence is maintained
· Provides counsel and advice to Company management on all H&S related matters
· Coordinates and attends on-site health and safety meetings
· Provides site Health and Safety training, indoctrination, orientation to employees
· Provides WHMIS training
· Thoroughly investigates lost time accidents/incidents and health and safety related complaints
· Completes WSIB forms and oversees light duty and early and safe return to work programs
· Generates H&S statistics and provides regular reports in a prescribed format, to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager
· Performs weekly site inspections and monthly safety audits
· Maintains daily/weekly/monthly work activity logbooks
· Maintains safety records and documents
· Maintains record of all safety and site information used to provide statistics, charts, reports etc.
· Ensures compliance with OHSA and all other relevant H&S related legislation and regulations
· Ensures management remains aware of any potential H&S related issues that may negatively impact the business
· Works with management and employees to develop and implement appropriate return to work and modified work programs
· Maintains zero tolerance for on the job safety infractions
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Post secondary education (Degree in Management or Occupational Health & Safety) is recommended
· CSAO certification by the Province of Ontario
· CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) designation preferred
· Certified H&S trainer
· Current knowledge of OHSA, WSIB, Construction and Industrial Safety Regulations
· Current CPR and First Aid training certification

Quality Assurance Inspectors - Various Project Sites
REPORTS TO: Q.A. Manager/Construction Manager/Project Manager
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Responsible for implementing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Company Quality policies, programs and practices in respect of the various and required codes and standards on company work projects and fabrications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED
· Establishes quality standards for evaluation of products
· Examines work pieces to determine conformance with specifications and welding requirements
· Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders for workers
· Performs visual, dimensional and weld inspections
· Performs non-destructive testing on piping and pressure vessels built to ASME/ANSI codes
· Monitors currency of welder qualification records and certifications
· Maintains inspection and calibrations records
· Verifies dimensions of fabrications and code vessel calibration using various inspection tools
· Coordinates activities for fabrication to various ASME code vessels
· Ensures compliance with code standards and requirements (i.e. ASME, Section VIII, B31.1 and B31.3, CSA Z299, ISO 9002)
· Establishes procedures for testing welding of vessels and piping to code requirements
· Prepares test plans for fabrication of pressure vessels
· Presents and expedites solutions to fabrication problems and testing procedures
· Complies, analyzes and presents history dockets, data files & data reports (i.e. U1A forms, piping data reports, partial data reports)
· Participates in ASME certification audits and various stamp renewals
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Preference will be given to Applicants with Bachelors Degree; Diploma in Quality or Engineering or C.E.T., or combination of education and experience
· Inspection techniques
· Intimate knowledge of various Q.A./Q.C. codes
SPECIFIC WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· > 8 years Q.A. field experience in a construction and/or nuclear environment
· Fully conversant with pressure vessel fabrication to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and pressure piping and components to ASME B31.1 and B31.3
· Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Certification
· Knowledge of and experience with C.S.A. Z299.2, .3 and .4, ASME NQA (1989) ( Nuclear Requirement), ISO 9002 and N285 code
· Completely familiar with the development of ITP (Inspection Test Plans) to various codes
· Background with inspection and construction operations is required
