Description: New gas-fired cogeneration plant consisting of 4,500 tons of structural
steel. The building is 115' high, contains 3 crane runways and required a great deal of
coordination with mechanical trades during the construction phase. The project was
constructed in 2007 and 2008.
Customer: Niagara Parks Commission
Project Name: Table Rock House - Upper Level
Value: $ 2,500,000
Description: Construction and renovation to an existing and occupied building. Much
of this steel was Architectural in nature and tied into the existing building on several
sides on various levels. New construction also included a pedestrian bridge, entrance
building and clock tower for tourist access to the building. The project was constructed
in 2007 and 2008.

Customer: Torbear Construction
Project Name: GTAA Terminal 3 West Processor Expansion
Value: $4,400,000
Description: An expansion to an existing and occupied terminal
adjacent to live operations. The overall tonnage on the project
was 2,500. Phase 1 began in 2005 and the project was completed
in 2007.

Customer: G&P Welding & Iron Works
Project Name: Ferguson Street Road Bridge, Assembly / Erection
Value: $ 100,000
Description: Assembly in the air of 9 girders on 3 piers using a 250t, 350t and 550
ton cranes. Erection took place over an active rail line. The lift was fully
engineered and the bridge was erected in 2007.

Customer: Enwave
Project Name: Enwave (MTCC), Steam Generated Turbines
Value: $200,000
Description: Installation of structural steel for an equipment
platform in and around an existing wet well. Equipment installation
including (2) 35 ton condensers and (2) 50 ton turbines plus
generators, gear boxes and switchgear. Installation used (2)
cranes on a parking ramp, during a night shift, through a
duct shaft opening in the wall. The equipment was rolled in
on falsework, hoisted down 40' and then rolled and jacked
into place. Erection and equipment installation took place
in 2006 and 2007.

Customer: Dofasco (Hamilton)
Project Name: KOBM Alloy Additions
Value: $1,400,000
Description: Installation of a new building, 400 tons, that
was tied into existing structures on 3 sides. Included the
installation of alloy bins, a hopper pit and elevated platforms.
We also included all cladding and civil work in our contract.
The project was completed in 2006.
Customer: HOCO (Harry Oakes Company ) Limited
Project Name: Giant Ferris Wheel
Value: $250,000
Description: New 200' diameter Ferris wheel,
the largest in Canada.
Erected in 2006.

Customer: Canadian Niagara Hotels
Project Name: Atlantis Water Park - Pedestrian Bridges
Value: $1,100,000
Description: Two aerial pedestrian bridges (92' - 88 tons
and 146' - 99 tons). Erected in one piece (each) complete
with deck, concrete and glazing. In 7 days the bridge sections
were decked, had concrete poured, glazed and erected. No damage
to the structure during erection occurred. The project was
completed in 2006.

Customer: St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation
Project Name: St. Lawrence Seaway, Sheave Replacement, Bridge #11
Value: $600,000
Description: Replacement of damaged sheave. Necessitated
the support and jacking of a 3 piece 500 ton counterweight.
The sheave in the picture being hoisted is 15 tons. The project
was completed in 2006.
Customer: Canadian Niagara Hotels
Project Name: Atlantis Water Park
Value: $14,000,000
Description: New water park over an existing 7 story parking
garage. One piece columns, over 100' long, were lowered through
the occupied parking garage to support the structure above.
Over 2,000 tons of steel were erected in 5 days. The overall
tonnage for the project was 4,500. We also installed all the
ride equipment and slides. The project was done in 2005 &
2006.

Customer: Niacon Construction
Project Name: Hilton / Renaissance / Casino Pedestrian Bridge
Value: $ 600,000
Description: A rotunda and pedestrian bridge linking the
Renaissance and Hilton hotels with the new Niagara Falls casino.
The bridge was assembled off site in a near-by location and
transported to site. Two cranes working in tandem erected
the bridge in a heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic area.
It was erected in 2005.
Customer: Niagara 21st Group
Project Name: Embassy Suites
Value: $600,000
Description: New 48 story (500' high, 150 ton) high speed
elevator shaft added to the existing hotel while in operation.
No road disturbance or pedestrian traffic restrictions to
existing operations. A crane was erected on the roof of the
hotel. Erected in 2005.

Customer: Eastern Construction
Project Name: TD Bank, College Park - Modernization Upgrade
Value: $450,000
Description: An 80' long, 12' deep truss was erected inside
an existing plenum space to support new structural steel for
mechanical and electrical equipment on the roof. In addition
over 130 pieces of steel were erected in 5 hours using the
helicopter to erect steel on the roof. Erection was done at
an average of 2.5 minutes per lift. Steel tonnage for the
project is 65 and was completed in 2005.
